What are groups?

Groups on LFG are communities of travelers who plan trips together regularly. Think of them as your travel crew — friends, family, or a travel club.

Creating a group

  1. Go to Groups from the sidebar
  2. Click Create Group
  3. Add a name, description, and optional cover photo
  4. Invite members by email or share the group link

Group features

  • Shared trips — create trips within a group so all members can see them
  • Events — plan group meetups and gatherings
  • Expenses — track shared costs across trips
  • Member management — assign admin roles to help manage the group

Group roles

  • Owner — full control, can delete the group
  • Admin — can manage members and settings
  • Member — can view and participate in group activities

Tips

  • Use groups for recurring travel crews (college friends, work teams)
  • Groups make it easy to plan multiple trips with the same people
  • Members can leave a group at any time
